A Volunteer Fair and brunch with a featured talk by national broadcaster E.D. Hill combined to create an extraordinary event for the Dripping Springs Women’s Club members and their guests held on Feb. 9 at The Terrace Club.  Founded to facilitate greater community interaction and involvement, the Women’s Club hosted the Volunteer Fair to give area non profit organizations an opportunity to host displays and present information to club members.   Also at the event, a new “Directory of Dripping Springs Area Non Profit Organizations” was distributed. The Directory was produced by the Women’s Club in cooperation with The Greater Dripping Springs Community Foundation and copies will be made available to the community in the near future. Following the Volunteer Fair and brunch, the event’s keynote speaker, E.D. Hill, spoke about how she balances a high profile career in New York City with eight children, trips to the family’s ranch in Dripping Springs, and still finds time for community service.
